Exodus 4:1 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?
Moses was afraid the people would not believe
him when he told them what God had said. Fear will cause us to question God's direction, call or prompting.
If we are going to do what God ask of us, we
are going to have to let fear go.
We know God has not given us the spirit of fear, (2 Tim 1:7) but if
we are honest we can say there have been times we have not moved and done what
God has asked because of fear.
I can think of times God prompted me to pray for someone or speak an encouraging word and I didn't do it because of fear. Fear won out over doing the will of God.
When fear wins we have to go to God and ask for forgiveness
then ask for His help. So we don’t allow
fear to keep us from doing the will of God.
