Thank You, God

Sometimes it is easy to forget that the God of the universe cares for us That He knows our names and that He has a plan for us.  We can become so busy that we are unable to see His hand or sense His presence.  Today take the time to simply say thank you to Him. Thank you for watching over me and my family. Thank you for caring about me. Most of all thank you for your son Jesus who die for me.

Praying the Word

Lord allow my son (children) to hear the instruction of their father and to not forsake the law of their mother.  Let him (them) not consent to the enticing words of sinners. I pray he (they) will not walk in the council of the ungodly, stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of the scornful. But that his delight will be in the law (word of God) of the Lord all the days of his life. In Jesus name amen!

Fill-up on God's Word

As we fill our minds with the word of God we will see our thoughts begin to change and when our thoughts change our actions changes. As our actions change we begin to reflect Christ in our everyday lives through our actions.
Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.

The Word of God is True

The word of God is true. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth {John 17:17}. {Psalm 119:160} The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. If my life is to by change by the truth of God’s word then I must agree with the word. As I think on the truth of God’s word I must expect and accept that change is going to come. {John 8:32}And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. So as I think on whatsoever is true I need to fill-up on the God’s word.

She Speaks 2015

Wow!!!  Is the only word I can say when it comes to the conference. This is my first year attending and it was awesome. My day started in the prayer room and ended with Amy Carroll. I think my favorite quote was we must "let the Word of God shape us before we pull it out to Shape Others". ~Amy Carroll

Sonship

Galatians 4:4-7King James Version (KJV)

But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

It is time to move on over into true sonship with our heavenly Father.

Prayer for the Generation

Philippians 4:6{AMP}

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Father, my desire and prayer is that mighty intercessors from this generation be raised up. Young men and women who have a heart for you and who are willing to stand in the gap for their generation arise. We pray that a passion for you and your kingdom burn in their hearts and they will be that candle burning brightly. That these young intercessors will show others the love of God and will lead others to You. Cause this generation to run after you like never before. Let them not fall prey to the schemes and plans of the enemy. Father let your will for their lives and this generation be fulfill.

In Jesus name Amen!

Ordinary to Extraordinary

As I sat having lunch I began to watch the many different people coming in and out of the restaurant. My eyes fell upon this one couple at a table near where I was sitting. The waitress was just bringing them their meal and as soon as it was on the table the couple held hands and began to pray. Wow, I had been here for about 15 minutes and this was the first time I had notice anyone praying.  What was God trying to teach me through this seemingly simply act?

Simple acts of faith can become extraordinary when God is in the mist. It is not about the crowds, or how many titles you have behind your name, but rather is God in the mist. Your ordinary, everyday activities can serve as a mighty witnessing tool to the faithfulness and glory of God.

This couple may have prayed together in public 99 times but today someone was watching and was moved by it. I was so moved that as I got ready to leave I went by their table to say thank-you.

Today I challenge you to allow God to be in the mist of your everyday life, so that others may see him and feel his presence.

Prayer: Father I asked that you take my ordinary everyday activities and bless them. May someone see you and experience your presence. Take my ordinary and let it become extraordinary in your hands. In Jesus name amen.

It Belongs to Him

All I have belongs to God. My life is surrendered to Him. Since it all belongs to Him, the good and the bad I choose to turn it all back into praise. I purpose to praise Him through the good and bad times. Decide to day since it all belongs to Him to turn it into praise

From the Heart

Father, where there is division bring unity. Where there is unrest bring peace. Build upon a solid foundation so that You not man may be glorified. Cause your people to lead by example and not in word only. In Jesus name Amen.

Not Ashamed

Romans 10:11New International Version (NIV)
As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
When I hear the word shame I think about humiliation and embarrassment. As a Christian I have to ask myself are where times when I felt shame of the Gospel of Jesus of Christ? Have there been times I silently sat by and been to shame to share the word? Has doubt cause me to not fully rely on Him?

This scripture is about empowering the Believer to truly believe and trust in all Jesus did for us through the cross of Calvary. We have a promise that if we believe on Him we will not be put to shame. It is not so much about being shame before men, but I do not want to be shame before God. I want Him to know that yes I fully rely on you, God.  Yes, I believe in your Holy Word. Yes, I believe Jesus is the son of the Living God. I believe and I will not be ashamed!

Pray:  Lord never let me not be ashamed that I am a Christian. My I boldly declare your righteous word in season and out of season. In Jesus name amen.
