What's Your Dream?
Today I challenge you to speak your dream. You know
that dream that seems like it would be impossible to achieve. Well in your own strength
that maybe true but with God it is possible.
Today I took the time to share my dream and I found out that the more I
talked about it the more excited I became about the dream. It didn’t matter how
the other person responded all that matter was that I decided to speak the dream.
My voice gave it life and today I am grateful that God allowed me the chance to
share my dream.

The Shift
For twenty years I have worked with children in some way or another. It seems all I have ever known is how to work with young children. Then one day God required, I do something different. He asked me to leave the career I had come to love to embrace the unknown.
Surely, God you can not be asking me to give up twenty years of work to step into a realm I know nothing about? I prayed and for six months and held on to the notion that this could not be of God.
However on May 22, 2015 the shift came and I nervously left the familiar to began a new adventure with God.
Comfort came in knowing that the Bible has many examples of others who were asked to make a shift. Abraham had to leave his homeland, Peter had to give up fishing (for fish) and even Jesus had to leave heaven and the Father to embrace the cross for you and I.
Embracing the journey begins with a simple yes. Yes, Father whatever you require of me that will I do so that others can see you. Your yes may require that you go on the mission fields, move to a different state, or change careers. One thing is for sure you will have to lay your life down at His feet and say here am I Lord use me.
