Now the Lord had said unto
Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's
house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
It takes Faith to move forward in the purpose of God.
Most of us have our comfort zone and we are ok if God’s plan for our
life don’t require us to move out of that land of comfort. But God is not concern with your comfort zone
but rather His purpose. God will stretch
your faith by asking you to do what you feel you are unable to do. think God
ask us to move out of that land of comfort so that we can truly relay on Him
and not our own abilities.
In order to obey the word of God Abram had to be willing to get out of his country, that area of familiarity, leave some relationships, and trust God when in his going.
Abram's obedience was saying Yes, Father
whatever you require of me that will I do. God is waiting for your yes. It’s time to get
out, let go and move on in God's purpose for your life.
Abram’s faith walk
began when God called him. As Abram took each step his faith in God grew. I encourage you tonight to take that first
step of faith to do what God has called you to do. Then continue to trust God
for each step along journey.
