Prayer for the Generation

Philippians 4:6{AMP}

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Father, my desire and prayer is that mighty intercessors from this generation be raised up. Young men and women who have a heart for you and who are willing to stand in the gap for their generation arise. We pray that a passion for you and your kingdom burn in their hearts and they will be that candle burning brightly. That these young intercessors will show others the love of God and will lead others to You. Cause this generation to run after you like never before. Let them not fall prey to the schemes and plans of the enemy. Father let your will for their lives and this generation be fulfill.

In Jesus name Amen!

Ordinary to Extraordinary

As I sat having lunch I began to watch the many different people coming in and out of the restaurant. My eyes fell upon this one couple at a table near where I was sitting. The waitress was just bringing them their meal and as soon as it was on the table the couple held hands and began to pray. Wow, I had been here for about 15 minutes and this was the first time I had notice anyone praying.  What was God trying to teach me through this seemingly simply act?

Simple acts of faith can become extraordinary when God is in the mist. It is not about the crowds, or how many titles you have behind your name, but rather is God in the mist. Your ordinary, everyday activities can serve as a mighty witnessing tool to the faithfulness and glory of God.

This couple may have prayed together in public 99 times but today someone was watching and was moved by it. I was so moved that as I got ready to leave I went by their table to say thank-you.

Today I challenge you to allow God to be in the mist of your everyday life, so that others may see him and feel his presence.

Prayer: Father I asked that you take my ordinary everyday activities and bless them. May someone see you and experience your presence. Take my ordinary and let it become extraordinary in your hands. In Jesus name amen.

It Belongs to Him

All I have belongs to God. My life is surrendered to Him. Since it all belongs to Him, the good and the bad I choose to turn it all back into praise. I purpose to praise Him through the good and bad times. Decide to day since it all belongs to Him to turn it into praise

From the Heart

Father, where there is division bring unity. Where there is unrest bring peace. Build upon a solid foundation so that You not man may be glorified. Cause your people to lead by example and not in word only. In Jesus name Amen.

Not Ashamed

Romans 10:11New International Version (NIV)
As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
When I hear the word shame I think about humiliation and embarrassment. As a Christian I have to ask myself are where times when I felt shame of the Gospel of Jesus of Christ? Have there been times I silently sat by and been to shame to share the word? Has doubt cause me to not fully rely on Him?

This scripture is about empowering the Believer to truly believe and trust in all Jesus did for us through the cross of Calvary. We have a promise that if we believe on Him we will not be put to shame. It is not so much about being shame before men, but I do not want to be shame before God. I want Him to know that yes I fully rely on you, God.  Yes, I believe in your Holy Word. Yes, I believe Jesus is the son of the Living God. I believe and I will not be ashamed!

Pray:  Lord never let me not be ashamed that I am a Christian. My I boldly declare your righteous word in season and out of season. In Jesus name amen.
